The story

Hi — I'm Noah.

I'm the person behind Pour. I grew up in Cincinnati and live in Cleveland now. I'm a huge sports fan — I'll turn on just about any game — and I'm driven and entrepreneurial, the type who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. By day I'm a CPA and a realtor; nights and weekends, I build apps like this one.

I made Pour because I hated forgetting things. A great drink, who I was with, where we were, what we talked about — the small stuff that turns out to be the stuff worth keeping. And it doesn't have to be alcohol at all: that first can of pop after giving it up for Lent, a morning coffee, a mocktail you'd order again. I just think sharing a drink with someone is one of those quiet places where memories get made, and I wanted a low-key way to hold onto them.

Pour isn't really about drinking. It's about remembering.

Two taps saves a pour — the drink, a photo, a few notes. Over time it builds a map of your life and the people in it. Keep it to yourself, or share with friends and see where they've been too.

If you start a Pour, I hope it gives you a way to look back later and remember the people you were with and the mood of the moment. And even when you're drinking solo, it captures how you were feeling at the time.
